"From South Africa!!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know we arrived in South Africa. Thank you all for praying, after an amazing church service on Sunday, we left Mozambique at noon. We drove all day and all night, and we arrived around 9 a.m. at the South African border.

From there we headed to Durban, which ended up taking a lot longer then we thought! We ended up getting there at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning!

So, in total, we were in the kombi for 36 hours!!! But God is good and we were not stopped by any cops or ran out of gas. We ended up staying in Durban until this morning (Thursday). Durban is very nice and we were able to just relax the last two days as it is very much westernized. So we went, for the first time in months, to a real shopping mall - all us girls felt so out of place with no make up and long skirts!! ha ha. Yesterday was the birthday of one of the girls on our team, so we went to the mall to a restaurant for supper and then went to see a movie. Bob and I didn't want to see what they were going to see, so Bob took me to the chick flick "27 Dresses" - it was really funny and it was nice to be alone with just Bob. This morning we headed out and now we are in Umtata - we arrived this afternoon. (only 6 hours in the kombi this trip). We are here for 10 days, not sure what type of ministry we will be doing, but looking forward to seeing what God is doing and where we can join Him.
