Weekend with my cousin!

Well this past weekend, we got to spend with my 17 year old cousin, Samantha! We always have fun together. We picked her up on Thursday afternoon from Edmonton as we had driven up to Edmonton to go and visit with Bob's Grandpa and Grandma Barnes. We had a nice visit with them, showed them pictures of our time in South Africa and where we are going to be for the next 2 years. After our time with them, we headed out to Spruce Grove and we visited with Bob's parents. Then we took out our niece, Kiera (who is 3) out to lunch. She chose McDonalds (anyone surprised?) and it was nice to spend time with her.

Once we were done in Spruce Grove, we headed back to Edmonton and went and visited my Grandpa and Grandma Pendergast! Bob hasn't seen them since we have been back in Alberta. After we visited with them and showed them some pictures, we headed to pick up Samantha.

This weekend, we haven't really done a lot of things, but it has been fun just to spend time with her. We have watched lots of TLC (LOL), played on the wii and just hung out.

Today after church, we drove her back home and now here we are back. We have been house sitting for our friends Cory and Wendy (the couple we went to the states with). Cory is coming home today only for 4 days and then he is going and meeting the family for camping for another weekend. So, we are able to stay here until next Sunday. Which works out good, because next Sunday after church we are heading down to Picture Butte to spend time with my family.

It's hard to believe that we only have about two and a half weeks left in Alberta! We are going to be spending this week visiting with our friends here in Red Deer. I think it's going to be a good but busy week, but that's ok.
