I am asking you to pray for my sister, Mandy, her husband Jorge and their son (21 months) Josiah and the rest of Jorge's family. As most of you know, they are living in Chile - Jorge is a pastor at one of the churches. As you have probably heard on the news, today were was a bad earthquake there this morning. Apparently it was in Concepcion - which is where Jorge's family lives and also Mandy and Jorge live more inland, in Yumbel, which is about 60 - 70 miles inland!
My parents have been trying to contact them all day on their cells, but all phone lines are down.
Also, my sister is about 7 months pregnant with their second baby. Please keep her health and the baby's health also in your prayers.
Please keep my family and also the people of Chile in your prayers!
I have just been sitting here, crying, praying and listening the the ipod and a song from Twila Paris came on, the title of it is God is in control - and that is my prayer! I know God has everything in control!!
